Being born in poverty, a run away at age 14 and living in the streets throughout the western United States with a dream for something better, 7 high schools, Marine Corps & Army, surviving Vietnam and college helped mold & temper Tim to the world. A deep desire to break the cycle of poverty, an architect in California, and the gratification of helping a family realize their dream of a custom home set Tim on the course of residential architecture that culminated with the formation of a friendship with Tim Furner and the birth of Highland Group.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Tim Furner was born right here in Salt Lake City and was fortunate enough to live here his entire life, raised in a very stable and loving household. Discovering a flare for architecture in grade school was no surprise for the art minded Furner, and he's been drawing ever since.

I have a real passion for creating dream homes for clients and their families, it gives me great satisfaction to have them say "Our home is everything we dreamed it would be!"
